| In brief This pneumatic pressure switch is a three-way block and bleed valve, operated by pressure acting on the piston opposing an adjustable spring force. It functions as a normally closed or normally open valve, depending on which of the two ports is under pressure. These ports are marked as "HI IN" or "LO IN" on the body of the switch. The output port, marked "OUT" on the switch body, is the same for both modes of operation. Pressure applied to the sensing port will cause the valve to operate. This Ruelco pneumatic pressure switch can also be used as a two-way bleed valve, in which case one of the 'HI IN' or 'LO IN' ports is plugged depending on whether the valve is used as a high or low pilot. |
